The Security Key M gives you a portable way to manage your Motive 3 software license across multiple computers. Instead of locking your license to a single workstation, the USB Security Key allows you to move your Motive license between compatible machines as needed.
For example, you may run your capture from one computer and review/edit motion capture data on another. Simply plug the Security Key into the workstation you are using, and your Motive license moves with you.
Most OptiTrack systems require software licenses to be locked to a USB Security Key. If you are purchasing a Security Key for an existing system, please review our Licensing FAQs or contact Support before ordering to ensure compatibility.
